Piscataqua River Basin (NH)

Incoming President's Comments

Submitted by Ed Bachelder on July 25, 2014

Image: Ed BachelderI would like to make a few comments about:

How nice Ellen Dennett and the other officers are to work with.

My hope to help grow the membership of the Piscataqua Pioneers with the help of the seasoned and good-hearted leaders who have kept the organization moving forward over the years.

Thank you to Fred Boyle for asking me if I could be a vice president.

My father, the Reverend Horace Bachelder, who passed away in 1981, would be delighted.  He had enjoyed both genealogy and our family's participation in New Hampshire, and was he farsighted enough to put in my application after we bought our land in Strafford.  My first cousins Judy Lea and Bob Bachelder are planning to be here today.  Their father was the Reverend Stephen Bachelder of North Attleboro, MA.
